The market research agency IDC released the latest quarter wearable market forecast report, which believes that Apple will continue to dominate the global smart watch market in the next four years, and occupy more than 25% of the market share.
According to Ramon T. Llamas, head of IDC's wearables market research, the demand for Apple's smartwatches is gradually increasing, and other competitors are still far from the company.

IDC wearable market research leader Ramon T. Llamas said that in addition to telling users time, smart watches can also provide health and posture management functions by connecting multiple applications and systems, while ear-worn devices may provide language translation and smart assistant And smart coaches.
Other brands using operating systems such as Android, WearOS, and Tizen will also help the smart watch market grow.
IDC also mentioned in the report that there may be ear-worn devices that specifically deal with hearing loss in the future, attracting users to buy. They expected that consumers in the North American and Western European markets will choose to buy smart watches, resulting in the growth rate of smart bracelets is almost flat.
